Job Description
Overview:
The position will have a dual reporting into Human Resources & the Vice President – Information Technology(IT). It will have strong alignment with the business unit working closely with the other HR CoEs to develop a people strategy & initiatives designed to enhance the IS functions efficiency and effectiveness. The incumbent will work as a positive cultural change agent, consultant and business advisor to the IT leadership team, enabling the execution of their business strategies & initiatives. Will be required to provide leadership support to the IT department in the areas of workforce planning, talent strategy, organization design, training & career development, performance management, compensation, recognition & change management. This is a multifaceted position requiring a broad combination of skills panning human resources, general management capabilities and solid understating of business functions, roles and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Own and drive the design, development and deployment of overall HR strategies for the Information Technology department around talent attraction, development, performance management, compensation and retention.
Serve as a strategic member of the IT leadership team, draw on own experience and expertise to consult with and advise IT leadership on all HR matters.
Drive broad cultural change to build a positive and agile working environment that would position the department for long term success.
Enable astute decisions around key people issues by comprehensive analysis and presentation of workforce information to IT leadership.
Conduct pulse surveys and focused group discussion to gain departmental insights and devise action plans in line with business requirements.
Practice balanced advocacy while supporting employees, managers and leadership.

Required Skills & Experience:
Must have:
Minimum 14 years of experience in HRBP role
Excellent collaboration, communication and leadership skills
Able to operate independently with broad level direction from leadership.
Ability to apply judgment and obtain results on critical priorities.
Expertise in coaching, conflict resolution, influencing, relationship and team building.
Ability to be a consultant for the senior leadership and facilitative partner at all levels.
Abreast with latest HR practices
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Office
Highly organized and process oriented
Nice to have:
Candidates who have handled HRBP responsibility for captive IT Business Unit would be preferred.
