Job Description
Database Design and Development: Create and maintain functional, reliable, and stable databases. Collaborate with application developers to enhance applications and establish best practices. Identify new features and gather user needs. Performance Assessment and Tuning: Provide performance assessment and tuning for large-scale enterprise applications. Optimize query performance, including Oracle PL-SQL tuning. Execute tests and update databases based on requests. Database Maintenance: Maintain and improve existing systems. Diagnose and resolve database usage problems and malfunctions. Collaboration: Work closely with programmers to enhance applications. Cooperate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient database operations. Data Modeling and Upgrades: Implement complex logical and physical data models. Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades. Quality Assurance: Perform intensive back-end database testing and analysis. Report defects found and verify fixes implemented. T
Responsibilities
Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL. Familiarity with Java and database architecture. Strong understanding of PL/SQL coding style and application tuning. Certifications (Preferred): SQL, MCSA, OCP, MCSE, AWS, or other relevant certifications.
